Bollywood diva Kareena
Kapoor is one of the most glamorous heroines of Bollywood. But the
actress will soon be seen in an unglamorous role in Punit Malhotra’s
Gori Tere Pyar Mein.
Kapoor toned down the glamour for Satyagraha, in which she played a journalist, wearing a simple kurta and jeans.
In Gori Tere Pyar Mein, she will
wear salwar kameez (traditional dress that combines a shift with
trousers, worn by women and men in India) designed by Manish Malhotra.
A source said: “Kareena’s look in this film is plain. She sports a
bindi (dot) and minimal make-up. Her hair is mostly tied into a
ponytail. As she has light eyes, lots of kohl has been used. The
make-up is in keeping with the character she is playing.”
